Cultural Thailand 

11 days & 10 nights

Day 1: Bangkok (D):

Arrive at Bangkok and greet guide. Transfer to hotel. Evening proceed for Siam Niramit Show the must see show of Thailand.A world class spectacular performance of Thai art and cultural Heritage with amazingstate of the art special effects. Travel back through time into the history and culture of+A20the Kingdom of Siam. You will be amazed and captivated by journey back into History,journey beyond imagination and journey through joyous festivals. You can also find yourself at the Thai village where the unique architecture, music and costumes are revived. Not only can you see how Thailand delicate and ornate handicrafts are made, you can try to create them yourselves! Hotel and overnight at Bangkok. 

Day 2: City and Temples Tour and Grand Palace (B):

Breakfast at hotel.This tour includes three of the most unusual Buddhist temples in Bangkok: Wat Trimitr with its invaluable Golden Buddha (5 ½ tons of solid gold) – Wat Po, the most extensive temple in Bangkok, with its colossal Reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings.The Grand Palace is one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Siamese court. It used to be the residence of the Kings of Thailand. Here you will see palaces which were used for different occasions:the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House, and the beautiful Emerald Buddha Temple. Hotel & overnight at Bangkok.

Day 3: Bangkok - Ayuthaya (B):

Breakfast at hotel. After breakfast, transfer to Ayutthaya the former capital of Thailand. Visit one of the most beautiful Summer Palace namely Bang Pa-In Summer Palace. Later on, transfer to Krung Sri River for buffet Lunch. Later, embark to Temple of Ruins, Wat Phra Sri Sanpetch (The former Royal Temple), Wat Yai Chai Mongkol (the temple of reclining Buddha Image and biggest chedi), Wat Mahathat (where the head of Lord Buddha Image is coverd by Poh Tree so far), Wat Ratchabura (where the national treasure were kept). After that, transfer to the hotel and free at leisure. Overnight in Ayutthaya.

Day 4: Bangkok – Ayuthaya (B):

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer back to Bangkok. Arrive hotel and check in. Free time and overnight at Bangkok.

Day 5: Bangkok - Colors of Bangkok - Puppet Show (by Car/Biking/Walkginh) (D):

Breakfast at hotel. Pick up from hotel.Experience a 4-5 hour bicycling tour of Colors of Bangkok 
over a distance of 25-30 kms. Through the metropolitan Bangkok. This trip includes the visits of a 
local Buddhist temple complex, a sweatshop making sandals and a short boat trip across the Chao 
Phya River in a longtailed boat. You will visit the slum houses and the people living there as well 
as an open-air Muay Thai school (kickboxing). You will ride through the greenest area of Bangkok 
and stop to visit a Burmese style (Mon) built Chedi and a local elementary school. On most routes 
traveled by “Colors of Bangkok”, cars and other heavy traffic are not able to drive which results in 
a 95% traffic free route. During the trip we will stop about every hour to rest and to provide you 
drinking water or a soft drink. Halfway we will stop at a local food shop and try the Pad Thai Kung 
or Kao Pad.Enjoy your dinner followed by the wonderful Thai traditional puppet show. Unlike any 
puppet performance you have ever seen, instead of remaining behind screens during the 
performance, the puppeteers are an integral part of the show. Traditional puppets give 
performances of the Ramayana, full of plots and sub-plots.Return to your hotel and overnight at 
Bangkok.

Day 6: Bangkok - Old Siam Tour - Bangkok by Night (By Car/Walk/Tuk Tuk/Sky Train) (B,L,D):

Breakfast at hotel. Visit to the center of Bangkok 220 years wxo was around the royal Grand 
Palace.We will bring you back to Bangkok during the reign of King Rama IV where the first road was 
cut to facilitate the expats who were living in Bangkok. Drive and walk through the 3 roads – 
Charoen Krung, Bamrungmuang and Fueng Nakorn. Full of history and story of business 
establishment along the road side. First stop is made at Wat Sraked (Golden Mt.) for panoramic 
view of the Old Bangkok City. Afterwards, continue by Tuk Tuk (Samlor) to visit Baan Bart, the 
original Khmer community and nowadays well-known for the alms-bolw or Baat making. We walk 
further to visit Wat Suthat and the Giant Swing. After lunch at a local restaurant, we continue to 
visit Wat Rajbophit to see the beautiful temple hall decorated with Benjarong wares. Our last 
stop is made at the Suan Pakkad Palace Museum, the former private residence of the Royal 
Highnesses Prince and Princess Chumbhot of Nwxara Svarga, to see their collection of antiquities.
Visit a night in Bangkok and take the sky train to the Taksin Bridge station for a journey on public 
express boat to Tha Chang pier. Walk passing Silpakorn University, Ming Lee restaurant (where you 
possibly meet with some Thailand’s great artists here). Information about the sites (Tha Chang, 
Silpakorn U that once used to be the palace of King Rama V’s sons, Wat Mahathad) should be 
elaborated by the tour guide. Continue the journey to Pakklong Talaad to see flower market. 
Dinner at Methavalai Sorn Dang. On the way back, drive along Ratchdamnoen Avenue passing 
boxing stadium, Anantasamakom Throne Hall, then cross the Krung Thon Bridge to the river bar for 
drink. Return to your hotel and overnight at Bangkok.

Day 7: Bangkok Canals Route (B,L):

Breakfast at hotel.Depart by minibus for the River City boat landing and take a long-tailed boat for visits of Bangkok Canals route. First stop is made at the Chinese Shrine on the bank of the river near Wat Anongkharam. The Shrine is established over 200 years wxo during Thonburi period. Then continue to the site of Queen Mother former house which is now set up as a memorial museum to the late Queen Mother. Next stop is at Wat Santa Cruz, then stroll around the local villwxe of Kudi Chin and a stop at local bakery. Return to the bird and continue the journey to Wat Rakang for a unique triplex scripture hall wxed over 200 years that once used to be the house of King Rama I when he was Chao Praya Chakri. Visit other historical sites in the temple. Continue to Supata Restaurant for lunch and return to your hotel.in evening.Transfer to hotel and overnight stay.

Day 8: Bangkok - Phuket (B):

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for onward flight to Phuket. Arrive at Phuket and transfer to hotel.Overnight stay at Phuket.

Day 9: Phuket (B):

Free and easy.

Day 10: Phuket (B):

Free and easy.

Day 11: Phuket - Bangkok - Home (B):

Breakfast at hotel and transfer out to airport for onward flight to Bangkok /home.
